There’s a lot happening in a two-day span. Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces tomorrow, March 5. Then on Wed. March 6, We have a New Moon in Pisces and Neptune, the ruling planet of Pisces, will be conjunct with both the Moon and Sun. This might be a time of heightened emotions and daydreaming, and will also be a great time to tap into our subconscious and listen. Mercury retrograde turns our thought processes inward and Pisces and Neptune rules dreams, fears. and our intuition, giving us a chance to connect the parts of our psyche we have buried deep down.
I encourage you to set an intention before going to sleep on Tuesday and Wednesday nights (Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the Eastern hemisphere) to remember your dreams. Record everything that you can remember immediately after you wake up. Do not chance falling back asleep or getting up and moving about your day thinking that you’ll remember your dream — write them down. Or make a voice recording. Record everything you remember no matter how trivial or meaningless it seems. Also record how you remember feeling in your dream and how you felt when you woke up. Resist the urge to look what what these dreams mean using dream dictionaries online. Instead, write down what they mean to you. What do the symbols that emerged mean to you? What significance do they have in your life?
One intention you can set this New Moon is releasing fear, and the information you receive from your dreams can help you release it. What fears lurk inside your subconscious? What is the history of this fear? What parts of you are protective because of this fear? What are the intended and unintended consequences of this fear? What would your life look like if you no longer had this fear?
Uranus moves back into Taurus
Another astrological event happening on March 6 is Uranus moves back into Taurus after a brief stint in Aries due to a retrograde. This can mark a new period in our lives in the realm of finances and our relation to money. I recommend using the energy of the New Moon, Mercury retrograde, and Neptune conjunctions as a way to explore your relationship with money and stability. What money wounds do you have (e.g. “I’m bad with money,” or “I don’t deserve to have money”)? Where do they come from? What do they keep you from doing? What are ways you’ve proven that they aren’t true? Use what you learn from your explorations to be prepared for whatever happens in the next seven years while Uranus is in Taurus.
